Looks like Brian doesn't make the Encore any longer, unless it was rebranded. But that looks really similar to a Beaumont. I'll have to see if he rebranded the Encore or if there's a similar replacement... or try to pry one from someone in the used market.

The Encore used to be a production model exclusive to Goulet Pens. They discontinued it as a Production line, but Brian still makes them by request. Just send him an email.

I know. I inked up my Beaumont just to remind myself how good of a pen it is while we wait for the announcement.

What are some good Edison models for those of us who like the Beaumont? I have kid-sized hands (well, men's S/size 7 gloves) and like the balance and weight of the Beaumont, but wouldn't mind reaching out for another pen. I was thinking of the standard Mina.

Sorry, but please sit tight on this announcement. I'm about to publish a blog post today saying that we are going to wait until after the DC Pen Show to announce this.

I was hoping to have this done and announced this week, but I really overestimated what we could accomplish post-vacation, and pre-DC Pen Show prep. Just way too much being juggled right now, so the week of the 11th we'll get this rolling. Sorry!

Here's my new Edison pens. I got to meet Brian and his wife at the dc show. What a great couple. They even remembered my crazy orange pen

    .

    The blue is Morgan.
    The green is Menlo.

The blue is Caribbean blue. Great color for those looking at the goulets limited edition.

Great choices. Those are beautiful! And I'm officially envious because I haven't met Brian Gray yet.

I was at his booth very early. So early the poor guy was still setting up. It took me an hour to pick my pens, Brian was friendly the whole time. Once pens were picked Brian and his wife talked to me for about 30 minutes. I was really amazed they took the time to chat. Btw....Brian remembers this thread....I bet he would remember your member name. Gosh, how does he do it?

Lol it took me almost a year to figure out my Beaumont PN I ordered right before the show.

Not only was Brian friendly the whole correspondence
He was super careful that I felt unpressured to buy before it felt right

    Amazing service

My orange pen with two caps is at the beginning of the thread. The new pens have stub nibs. I was just thinking today....my pen collection looks like candy.

My pair emerged from the dc show still childless. Just as well, actually.
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

Now the problem is....I want another one. I hoping to order another edison pen at the holidays.
This really is a great looking looking pen. It makes me want to eat candy

I totally get you. Anyone remember Carmen Miranda's "Fruit Hat"? That's how I think of my pen collection.(Wish I could draw).
