I don't have a Beaumont, but I believe the regular Pearl is larger. If you enjoy your Beaumont, you should enjoy the Pearl as far as size goes. Writing with the DE Pearl unposted is like posting the other pens. It is extra long because of the extra cap. It's not uncomfortable, just different.

Thanks. That's very helpful.

[QUOTE=Crazyorange;73986]Here is another comparison now that work is finished. I believe the Encore an Beaumont are similar in size, so I included shots of my Encore posted and unposted as well as a comparison directly with the Pearl. Though they are similar lengths, I prefer the Encore posted because it's lighter.

Does the pearl have a bigger sized nib?

It's so helpful to see side by side comparisons. Yes Beaumont is size 6. Well I guess the pearl will be the next purchase. Thanks

Comparison photos? This is fun. Don't have all of my Edison pens on hand but here is a comparison of the Beaumont, Menlo, DE Pearl, and Pearl.

Here are a few of mine. I've posted these photos in other threads, so some of you may have seen them already.

Where did you get the red blue white ebonite from? Wow! That's a show stopper. Can you post a full pic of that Huron?
reprieve (April 4th, 2014)
Pic of the Morgan unposted please.
I ordered it directly from Brian/edisonpen.com. This ebonite varies quite a bit from pen to pen and can range from almost all white to almost all red to almost all blue and it sometimes turns out more patchy than swirly; Brian actually warned me about choosing this material but I took the risk and the pen turned out perfectly with lots of swirls and relatively even color distribution. I was lucky. I'm biased, of course, but if you search this material in his SmugMug gallery, I think my pen is the best looking.

Stunning pens, reprieve and trhall. Absolutely gorgeous, all of them. Reprieve, is that clipless Morgan slightly shorter than the clipped ones?

Thanks a lot. Does the grip section feel short in length?
Oh, I may have misunderstood your question. If you meant where did the ebonite rods come from, I believe they are from American Art Plastics: http://www.americanartplastics.com/h..._pricing.shtml
